One is right for you

Deep tissue and lymphatic drainage treat opposite problems. Craniosacral and Gua Sha feel nothing alike. Pick wrong and you waste a session. One tap below gets you ranked against all fourteen — and tells you exactly what happens in the room.

The Finder

Start with one tap

Pick whichever line sounds most like you. You can adjust every answer afterwards, and nothing is sent anywhere until you choose to book.

Most common reasons people come in
or answer five questions

Where does it bother you?

Tap the figure or the list. Pick more than one if it travels — or skip if nothing hurts.

Hover or tap an area

What do you want out of it?

Choose as many as apply.

How much pressure do you like?

Deep isn't better. It's just different — and it rules some techniques in or out.

Anything we should know?

These change the ranking, not just the wording. Some techniques get ruled out entirely.

How are you paying?

This doesn't change your match — it changes what we prepare before you arrive.

If you're using NYSHIP, read this first

NYSHIP requires a prescription for medical massage, so our MD or PA meets with you before your first session. Prescriptions run 30 days. HSA and FSA cards are accepted with no prescription, and self-pay rates need no insurance at all. Ask us and we'll tell you which route costs you least.

Questions

Before you book

How is medical massage different from a spa massage?

Medical massage treats a specific condition or injury and is delivered by licensed therapists working to medical guidelines. A spa massage is built for relaxation. Both can feel good — only one is written into a treatment plan and billable through insurance.

Do I need a prescription?

For NYSHIP coverage, yes. Our medical doctor or physician assistant meets with you before your first appointment. For HSA, FSA, or self-pay, no prescription is required.

Will it hurt?

Some techniques use firm pressure to reach the problem. Nothing should be unbearable. Tell your therapist what pressure feels right and they adjust in the moment — that feedback is part of the treatment, not an interruption.

How many sessions will I need?

It depends on the condition and your goal. Your therapist gives you a plan after the first assessment and revises it as your progress is tracked.

Can I use HSA or FSA funds?

Yes. Medical massage at Circle Wellness is HSA and FSA approved.

What if the finder picks something I don't want?

Ignore it. The ranking is a starting point built from what you told us, and your therapist can override it entirely after a hands-on assessment. Note your preference in the form and it goes into your chart.

Can I cancel or reschedule?

Yes. Give us at least 24 hours' notice where you can.

Do you treat patients under 18?

Our focus is adults, but we treat teens and children ages 3 and up when appropriate, with treatments adapted to be gentle and age-appropriate. Call the office to discuss whether a specific service suits your child before booking.
